Description
Original Poem Reads –
“In olden days, one early morn, when dew lay upon the ground Young Oisin had set out with Fionn & his mighty hound. They set upon a vision, Niamh with the golden hair, who promised him a land of youth so beautiful & fair. They married and were happy, for a short time it seemed be, for home had called to Oisin, so he galloped o’ver the sea, On searching for the Fianna, that were now a long time gone For 900 years had since passed since that Irish dewy dawn As he stopped to help an elder, he fell from his mighty horse His hopes and dreams of Tir na Nog, vanished without remorse.”
