“Four children of an Irish King,lived a life as like no other For turned to swans by an evil witch were Fionnula & her brothers Lake Dereveagh, The Sea of Moyle and Inish Glora was their home Through lakes and seas they bravely swam, through cold rough surf & foam After 900 years at their journeys end, they turned as they used to be They were old & grey with death at hand – the Children of Lire were free.”
